Changing Leaves, Changing Lives

September marked some big changes for our family. First of all, the kids and I moved up to Oregon. It is, after all, where we've hoped to settle, right? So, Jared continued to work in the Bay, and he flew up every weekend, all the while searching for employment in Portland. In the meantime, Jason started the 1st Grade at Stafford Primary School. He was pretty excited about taking the school bus to and from, though neither of us were too keen on being out at the bus stop by 7:15 a.m. Yikes! On the weekends, we liked to hang out at Club Sport, where Mommy and Daddy could get a workout in while Jason attended his rock-climbing class. He was fearless! He made it all the way to the top of the wall (45 feet) on his very first day! Then again, it really came as no surprise to me. I saw him climb up my bedroom wall when he was under 2, using nothing but an outlet for footing. Of course, he was wearing Spiderman jammies at the time...
